How it all started

The Band

Tree_O is a dynamic musical ensemble that came into existence in May 2022 under the visionary leadership of Bryan. After relocating to the picturesque town of San Marcos la Laguna, Bryan sought to form a musical group that would bring together diverse talents and create a unique sound. With a strong desire to establish an active and energetic band, Bryan decided to create a power trio, inviting Lawra and Abel to join him on this artistic journey.

The members of Tree_O draw inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, resulting in a select and eclectic repertoire. While jazz takes center stage in their performances, their music also encompasses the rich flavors of flamenco, tango, samba, and various other styles. This diversity of influences allows them to craft a mesmerizing fusion of sounds, captivating audiences with their innovative approach.

In addition to their core trio, Tree_O frequently collaborates with exceptional guest musicians, adding further depth and dimension to their performances. Notable artists such as Kique "Musikulti," Selvin López, Kelvin López, and Kadmon, amongst others, have graced their presentations, infusing each show with their own distinct musical prowess.

These collaborations bring a sense of excitement and unpredictability to their live performances, making each show a truly immersive and unforgettable experience.

Since its inception, Tree_O has taken their music to various venues around the lake. Their reputation has grown steadily, earning them coveted spots in prominent regional festivals such as the Harvest Fest 2023 and the 1st Jazz Fest that was held in the beautiful shores of Lake Atitlán. Their participation in these festivals not only highlights their talent but also underscores their commitment to celebrating the power of music in the local community. Notably, they were part of the vibrant celebrations of the international #JazzDay, adding their own creative flair to the event.

While consistently performing in live shows, the band members are also channeling their energy into the creation of their first recorded album. This ambitious undertaking showcases their dedication to their craft and the desire to leave a lasting musical legacy.

As Tree_O continues to evolve and carve their own path in the music scene in Guatemala, they embody the spirit of creativity, collaboration, and artistic exploration.

Their unwavering commitment to pushing boundaries and delighting audiences sets them apart as a remarkable musical force, poised to make a lasting impact in the world of music.
